From Food Freedom

S 510, the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2010, may be the most dangerous bill in the history of the US. It is to our food what the bailout was to our economy, only we can live without money. "If accepted (S 510) would preclude the public's right to grow, own, trade, transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes. It will become the most offensive authority against the cultivation, trade and consumption of food and agricultural products of one's choice. It will be unconstitutional and contrary to natural law or, if you like, the will of God." ~Dr. Shiv Chopra, Canada Health whistleblower

Free money for black farmers

Here's what happened. Some black farmers complained that they weren't getting their fair share of government subsidies, and that when they complained about being shorted, the USDA failed to respond. They sued the USDA, and won over a billion dollars. Here's the thing. It's not true, not factual, and amounts to nothing more than race-baiting. The fact remains, that the Pigford case, the lawsuit that garnered a huge chunk of change for black farmers, is without merit. The facts speak for themselves. Mr. Pigford and his fellow litigants failed to file the proper paperwork on time. When you're dealing with any government agency, you'd better be timely. Ask the Census Bureau. Mr.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em: profiting from climate change

There's nothing we conservatives can do about it. Climate change legislation is going to pass in just a few short days. We might not be able to stop it, but we sure can profit from it. That's right, profit. This is so simple it hurts. You know those nasty little derivatives that Congress is bashing Goldman Sachs for? Well, they are going to outlaw mortgage-based derivatives, but in their place, Congress and Wall Street, with the blessings of Barrack Obama, have created an brand new derivative, and if you're smart, you'll invest in them NOW.

Food Inc: A leftist film that harms organic farmers

I watched Food Inc. on PBS last night. Now, to be honest, I don't watch PBS any more than I visit Wal-mart. Both are intolerable for me. But I am far more qualified to comment on food production than the agenda-driven film makers who put out this garbage:

Racist: A progressive word and a Marxist strategy

Have you ever been called a racist? Are you a racist? Do you even know what the word means? Probably not, but it is more than just a word—it's a tried and true progressive/communist strategy.

The term "racist" is the rhetorical invention of a Jew named Lev Bronstein. Never heard of the guy? Sure you have. He changed his name to Leon Trotsky, and together with Lenin birthed the most vile form of government ever known to man—communism, or as the more politically sensitive among us like to call it—spreading the wealth around. In 1917, Trotsky coined the phrase "racist" to describe the people of Russia who were resisting the takeover of their country by Jewish communists. But don't take my word for it; check out what David Francis, the American Ambassador to Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution said about it:

Congressman Obey responds with sob story

I couldn't get to  D.C. for the Tea Party protest last week. I was praying for my fellow patriots, and even though I couldn't be there I still wanted to participate. So, I called my Congressman's office, Dave Obey (D-WI). Mr. Obey took his sweet time getting back to me, and as you can see in his lame response below, failed to address any of my concerns:

  • How will we pay for this?
  • Why should I have to pay for crack heads and meth babies?
  • Will herbal remedies and natural healing techniques really be illegal?
  • Will illegal immigrants be covered?
As you can see, he didn't answer any of them. Instead, he send me a sob-story:

Dear Mrs. Cook:

Thank you for contacting me to express your concerns about health insurance reform.

The USDA Tackles Childhood Obesity...Sort Of

Fat girl eating cotton candyThe Task Force on Child Obesity, consisting of private sector companies, non-profit organzations, and various Government agencies including the USDA and the Department of Health and Human Services, is asking for comments from the public on how to control the growing (no pun intended) problem of obesity in America's children. It sure sounds good, but the problem lies with the members of the task force themselves, specifically the USDA.
