How safe is the food you eat? The USDA will tell you it is the safest in the world. Too bad for them that the rest of the world doesn't feel the same way. Taiwan's legislature has officially banned the import of American beef, despite the pitiful pleadings of the USDA and the Office of the United States Trade Representative. Taiwan is concerned that American beef is contaminated with Mad Cow Disease. And they're right.

Why was President Obama so reserved in his response to the Fort Hood massacre? Because the radical Islamist terrorist was one of his advisers from the Department of Homeland Security. That's right. Thanks to Glenn Beck, most conservatives are more aware than ever of the works of Thomas Paine, especially Common Sense. Beck is particularly fond of this early pamphlet that helped shape the political atmosphere in Revolutionary America. Paine's ideas were considered radical at the time, even by fellow revolutionaries. The ideas expressed therein were more about rhetoric than policy. Common Sense was a rabid diatribe against the Crown and against monarchs, and in an era of turbulence, it was seized on as a rallying cry for the masses. No wonder Glenn Beck likes it. But, Thomas Paine's ideas weren't new, and they weren't what the other Founders embraced.

On December 9th, the USDA announced it had awarded $14 million in funds to help "socially disadvantage" farmers. The term "socially disadvantaged" is a euphemism for Black or Hispanic:

A socially disadvantaged farmer or rancher is one of a group whose members have been subjected to racial or ethnic prejudice without regard to their individual qualities. Generally, socially disadvantaged producers who participate in OASDFR-funded projects develop profitable new farming or ranching practices, receive loans more rapidly, increase their farm or ranch income, continue farming or ranching longer and are less likely to go out of business.

Tom Vilsack, President Obama's hand-picked agribusiness hack who serves as the current Secretary of the USDA had weighed in on the healthcare fraud by claiming that the reform will help rural Americans. No, that's wrong, it will save us. How can we ever thank him? Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves, because Vilsack, like all good hand-picked hacks, is lying through his teeth.

In an article on the White House blog, Vilsack claims that rural Americans pay 39% of their healthcare costs out of pocket, more than any other group. What he doesn't tell you is that because we know we have to pay our bills, we are very selective about how we consume medical services and pharmaceuticals. Unlike our urban counterparts, we understand that we aren't entitled to anything.

We all know what a rude awakening feels like. It's that draining of faith that leaves us feeling cold and disillusioned, and sometimes sad, like when we first found out the truth about Santa Claus. It's with this in mind that I'm asking conservatives and global-warming deniers to go easy on liberals in the next few days. They'll be in full-retreat and full-spin at the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen next week (December 7-18, 2009). Let's allow them some dignity as they pick up the pieces of their shattered green religion.

Obama invites yet another hate-mongering racist to the White House, and still no one wants to admit that this is the most racist, Marxist, and dangerous Administration in the history of our country. Not only has the leader of the Black Panther Party and avowed Marxist, Malik Zulu Shabazz, had the honor of meeting with the racist-in-chief, so has Levi Shemtov, the leader of the Jewish supremacist group Chabad Lubavitch. Interestingly enough, the philosophies of both of these uber-racist groups are strikingly similar. Both advocate violence against Whites and Christians. Both seek to separate themselves from the White community while blaming us for their problems. And both groups of racists have been asked to advise the President on social policy.

Everybody sing! Where are Al Gore and Michael Moore? Come on guys, lend your voices.

As I watched the following two videos, it dawned on me that most of what I've been told by the American media and the public school system is completely false. These videos are important; they are disturbing; they will upset the more politcally correct among us. I disagree with some of the conclusions the speakers draw about white people, but overall, I think they raise interesting questions.
